The Process

Step 1: Fill out a Application form
In order to purchase a puppy from Tonka Bay Newfoundlands you need to submit an Application form. Tell us a liitle bit about you and what personality you are looking for in your pup. We want to find our puppies the best family that fits there personality.

Step 2: Wait for an approval
After we have reviewed your Application. We will reach out to you via email with your Application status. I typically respond within 1-2 business days.

* We have the right to deny anyone at anytime if we feel you are not the right fit for one of our puppies.

Step 3: Submit a depsoit form
Once you are approved your next step is to officially reserve your spot on the waiting list by placing a $300 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and signing are deposit form. We take payments thru Venmo if that doesn't work we can discuss other ways to send the payment. Your deposit fee goes to the final payment of your puppy. So the total cost now is $2200. Once you have submited your deposit and signed the deposit form you will be put on our waitlist. Our waitlist goes in order of the reservation fee. Once there is a litter born we will make our way down the waitlist and we will contact you. Then if you are satisfied with the colors and gender you can reserve a spot on that litter. If you are not you can move your deposit to the next litter.

Step 4: The hardest part
Now comes the hardest part for you and I, WAITING . .
Once the pups are born we will contact you and send you pics of colors and gender. Although we usaually have a pretty good idea of the litters that were bred throughout the year there are several things we can't predict such as Colors/markings, Gender, litter size. Each family has an idea of what they are looking for, so each family has the flexibility to stay on the waitlist as long as they need to find the right fit for them. If you don't find what your looking for in the current litter you will move to the next litter in the order of date you submitted your deposit form. Nobody has to have one from a specific litter.

Keep in mind: Famillies that don't have much preference on their new puppy will most likely get a puppy first but someone that has a longer list of preferences for their new puppy, that is fine too, it is a big decision, just know you will have a longer experience finding your perfect match.
